EVSE DIN RS485
The EVSE DIN RS485 is an improved version of the EVSE for charging electric vehicles, which is mounted on a DIN rail and uses the RS485 communication interface. This interface allows more advanced communication and integration with other devices such as IoTmeters - power balancing of one or more chargers (according to PV, main breaker value, etc.).

In addition to the standard functions of EVSE DIN, such as charging process management, vehicle communication, charging current regulation, and safety assurance, the RS485 version offers the following advantages:
- Advanced communication: The RS485 interface enables bidirectional communication with other devices, allowing for remote control of charging, energy consumption monitoring, and integration into smart home systems.
- Greater flexibility: Thanks to the RS485 interface, the EVSE DIN RS485 can be connected to various systems and devices, providing greater flexibility in configuration and use.
- Possibility of integration with IoT meters: EVSE DIN RS485 is compatible with IoT meters and Smartmodules, which are devices for monitoring energy consumption. This makes it possible to track how much energy was consumed while charging the electric vehicle.

Stop charging
-
Write:
1000 = 0
-
Result: Charging stops immediately.
-
-
Resume charging with 16 A current
-
Write:
1000 = 16
-
Result: Charging resumes with a limit of 16 A.

Vehicle status inquiry
-
Read:
1002
-
Result: E.g.,
3
= charging in progress.
